Secure Remote Desktop
The following are two ways SecureAgent GUI can be used by a local group user:
- GuiAccess:
Enables the user in the local group to use SecureAgent GUI to obtain read-only access to that machine. The SecureAgent GUI Host DLL (saigui.dll) must be loaded on that machine.
- GuiFullAccess::
Enables the user in the local group to use SecureAgent GUI to obtain full (click and type) access to that machine. The SecureAgent GUI Host DLL (saigui.dll) must be loaded on that machine.
SecureAgent Software's Graphical User Interface (SecureAgent GUI) connects to other machines.
- Saigui.dll:
Use this DLL to remotely access the NT GUI. Everything seen on the NT server, including mouse and keyboard input, displays to a remote system, enabling it to function as a local screen. Transferred data is secured and compressed, optimizing both security and performance.
The GUI host DLL will force VIO window updates to occur using what's called a VioTimer. This tracks the number of milliseconds for an OS/2 system running with a Cirrus Logic GD-5342 video adapter device driver.
